As an art educator I believe the creative process has the power to empower, challenge, inform, and awaken the human spirit. I offer classes, private lessons and workshops in drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, family heirloom art, book arts, creative writing and mixed media for children, teens and adults. I have been teaching and administering art programs for children and teens for the last seven years. I worked for three years as the Director and Art Teacher at Augustana Academy, an afterschool art and music program for 3rd - 8th graders in Northeast Portland. I have also taught art classes and workshops at Willowbrook Center for the Development of Human Potential, the Oregon College of Art and Craft, Buckman Elementary, and the Children's Museum Art Studios.
