Family Heirloom Art- Exploring the Power of Stories
Learn how to write about your family's stories, traditions and culture! Explore how your family stories have had a significant impact in shaping who you are today and what you believe is valuable to pass on to the next generation. Through writing and discussion the class will focus on the power of memory and dreams, the role of storytelling in cultural preservation, and how you can turn a collection of your stories into an illustrated family history book. This hands-on workshop will be offered free to the public at the library location listed below.

Drawing Exploration
Explore the world of your imagination through line and color! Are you brilliant like the sun, do you bloom colorfully like a springtime flower, do you sing like the wind? Inspired by the natural world and your own innovative ideas you will have the opportunity to create your own mythological creature. This class focuses on developing your drawing skills through the use of pen & ink and oil pastels. This hands-on workshop will be offered free to the public at the library location listed below.
